Purchase Big Picture Money
Buy Big Picture Money on the pricing page. Payment is handled securely by Stripe on a hosted checkout page — Big Picture does not store your card number on the website.
There is no public download page. After you pay, the checkout success page offers installers, and your purchase email includes the same links plus your license file.
Prerequisites
- A computer that meets the desktop app requirements
- An email address where you can receive your license file
Steps
- Open the pricing page and review what the one-time license includes.
- Leave the default $49 license, or turn on Save $10 as a Contributor to purchase a Contributor License for $39.
- Standard ($49): anonymous usage sharing and categorization contribution stay off until you opt in later in the app.
- Contributor ($39): those sharing options (and payee normalize samples used to improve merchant recognition) stay on and cannot be turned off. Reporting remains anonymous — shared data cannot be tied back to you as a person. - Click Buy Now (or the equivalent buy control).
- On Stripe Checkout, confirm the product and price, then complete payment.
- After payment, you are redirected to a success page on bigpicture.money. That page offers the installer for your operating system, and a control to download for Windows, macOS, or Linux instead.
- Check your email for
license.bp— your signed license file. The same message includes Windows, macOS, and Linux download links for the current complete installer. Those links stay on that version if you return to the email later. - Install the desktop app, then activate your license.
Expected result
- Pricing defaults to $49; enabling Save $10 as a Contributor selects the $39 Contributor License with locked-sharing and anonymity explanation visible before pay.
- Payment completes on Stripe Checkout at $49 or $39.
- The success page confirms payment, offers OS-aware installers (with the other operating systems one click away), and points you to activation steps.
- You receive email with
license.bpattached plus Windows, macOS, and Linux installer links for the current complete installer. - Importing the license in the app and completing one-time activation unlocks the software.
- With a Contributor License, Settings shows sharing locked on; with a Standard license, sharing stays optional.
