View app information

The About dialog shows what version of Big Picture Money you are running and your license status. It is useful when you contact support or want to confirm your edition.

Prerequisites​

  • Big Picture Money is installed and open.

Open the About dialog​

  1. In the title bar, click the Help icon.
  2. Choose About Big Picture Money.
  3. The About dialog opens.

The dialog also includes a link to open Documentation and a de-emphasized link to Open-source licenses.

Copy the version for support​

  1. In the About dialog, click Copy version.
  2. The app copies a support-friendly string such as Big Picture Money 2026.1.42 to your clipboard.
  3. Paste it into a support email or issue report.

Close the dialog​

  1. Click Close, or press Escape.

Expected result​

  • Choosing Help → About Big Picture Money opens the About dialog.
  • The dialog shows the app name and a version string that matches your build.
  • The dialog shows your license status (Not licensed when no license is active).
  • Copy version places a support-friendly version string on the clipboard.
  • The dialog closes with Close or Escape.
  • The About dialog has no license-key entry — manage your license from Help → License….
