Create a goal with AI

Prerequisites

• AI enabled in Settings
• At least one account

Steps

1. Open Chat.
2. Describe your goal in plain language — for example: "Keep at least $10,000 in Main Checking" or "$100 more in savings before each paycheck."
3. Review the assistant's evaluation preview and proposed goal details on a preview card.
4. Click Apply to create (or update/delete) the goal, or Dismiss to leave goals unchanged.
5. For a custom JavaScript goal, the assistant should look up the same Help articles you use (goals feature and goal script reference) rather than inventing the scripting rules.

Example

You: "Am I on track for my house down payment?"

Assistant: Uses your saved house goal evaluation and summarizes headline and pace.

You: "Create a $10,000 floor on Joint Checking."

Assistant: Previews Watch / Healthy status, then proposes Create goal for your confirmation.

Expected result

• Goals appear on Goals and in evaluations on Home only after you click Apply.
• Unconfirmed previews (and Dismiss) do not save create, update, or delete.
• Custom rule goals follow the documented script contract from Help — not invented APIs.
